Users are joining (sneaking into) my channel without notification
The title says it all. There are users able to join my channel without prompting my "user entered your channel" notification. I haven't changed any default settings. I have searched all over for any answers to this and cant find anything. I hope someone can help me! All I want to do is make it where either 1. they cant do that, or 2. I can hear them "sneaking" in to eavesdrop on my conversations.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Settings -> options -> Notifications: Make sure to select the Soundpack you want in the Topleft Dropdown and then ensure all of the Following are checked and have a soundfile assigned (ie. Play button is active).
Client -> Connection -> Connected -> Current Channel
Client -> Connection -> Disconnected -> Current Channel
Client -> Switched -> To Current Channel -> (both)
Client -> Switched -> Away from Current Channel -> (both)
Client -> Moved -> To Current Channel -> (both)
Client -> Moved -> Away from Current Channel -> (both)
Client -> Was Kicked -> From Channel -> To Current Channel -> (both)
Client -> Was Kicked -> From Channel -> Away from Current Channel -> (both)
When connecting to your Server make sure the Soundpack used is the one you edited above. (Self -> Soundpack, can also be speicifed in Bookmark (Manage Bm -> More -> Server -> Soundpack)

Thank you for the advice. All of the suggested boxes were checked by default (in addition i double checked to make sure they were still checked). There are only 2 people on my teamspeak with the "capability" to enter (or exit) a channel without me receiving a notification. When other people enter, I receive a notification (as the default settings suggest I should).
Any other guesses?

Are those Users for whom you don't hear the notification on your Contacts List by chance? If you right click their names do you have "Remove from Contacts"?
If so check that you have the appropriate Soundfiles present in the folder of the Soundpack you use. For User Actions (Kicked, banned, switched, moved) there are 3 Soundfiles one that starts with "blocked_user_" for those on your Foe List, another one starting with "friend_" for those on your Friendlist and then finally one starting with "neutral_" for any other Client. Guess you are either missing some of them (most likely the blocked or friend one) or the respective File got corrupted and TS3 can't play it. If I remember correctly the Client is quite picky about the Format of the Sounds in order to be able to play it, can't remember the specifics right now though, but they are mentioned a couple times in this Forum. You can compare Bitrate, Channels etc of the Files to see if they are the same for all of them.
