    Be more specific...
    What Passwords did you change?
    What Client Version?
    What Server Version?
    What Operating System?
    Client Log?
    Server Log?

I suppose you are talking about the dots displayed in the Edit Channel Window that change once you hit Apply..

The amount of Dots displayed in the Edit Channel Window is FIXED and doesn't have anything to do with the actual Password required to join the channel!!!
Regardless of the actual Password the amount of dots displayed is always the same to prevent others that just click Edit Channel to be able to know the length of the Password which would greatly ease guessing the Password. It is way faster to brute force a password if you know it is exactly 4 Characters long than it would be if you didn't know that. TeamSpeak displays 8 Dots whether the Password is 1 Character or 32 Characters long. Since noone knows how long the password is they'd need to brute force every possible Password for any amount of characters as opposed to just all possible Passwords that are 8 Characters long.
