New Server
Hi there,
I can run the ts3 server on the root account and have no issues but when i try running the server under a cpanel account i can get the server to run but i can't connect.
After looking at the logs its shown me this "2012-06-23 15:46:15.900590|INFO |VirtualServer | 1| listening on 0.0.0.0:9987" is there any way to change the ip to the correct ip?
Thanks in advance

The 0.0.0.0 IP will work just fine, it just means "any IP that is available".
No clue why it isn't working with the cpanel but then I never used cpanel.
What you can do however is create a new User Account using the adduser Command and use that User to run the TS3 Server with.

What prevents you from doing the same with any other User Account?

Cpanel cron jobs is only for the username but i don't know why it just won't connect there are no firewalls stopping it.
And i have shell access to get it running and the server is picking it up as running.

Does ts3server_linux_x86 and all scripts (*.sh) have execute chmod? Also are they (and all other files) belong to user which want to turn it on? Use commands chown -R to change an owner and chmod +x to make it executable.
