Security level
Hello!
Some people can't join my TS server anymore.
There is an error with the security level.
Insufficient identity security level for this server. You need to improve your identity security level.
Error happened after the last TS update.
Could someone help me?

Not a Bug, but misconfigured Server

It did not happen because of the update but because you (or another Admin / User with sufficient Permissions) changed the Server Settings and raised the security level required to join the server.
If you still can connect to the server check the Value on Right Click Server name in the channel tree -> Edit Virtual Server -> More -> Security. If the Value is below 30 you can just leave it as it is and the Users having Problems will have to wait once for about an hour or so (depending on their CPU), but once they did that they can just connect instantly as usual.
If you don't want them to wait at all lower the value to 8 and hit Apply, everyone will be able to connect instantly again.
If neither you nor any other admin can connect anymore contact your Hoster to lower the value for you.

Ehm, I didn't changed something to my virtual server > secutity level, and no other one have permissionns to change that.
If I go to vir. > Security level, it's standing on 8.
A friend is new at teamspeak and came to my server because he can't join his server because this. I asked if he changed the security level. He said he didn't.
Then someone spotted me on skype and said that he can't join the server anymore. He waited for 3 hours or something, and the level was 33. But he still can't join.

If the server in question is hosted ask them if they can change it. Or if you have access to serverQuery do it yourself.
If it is your own server, use telnet to connect to serverQuery, use something like
login serveradmin yourPasswordHere
use sid=1
then look on command like serveredit with
help serveredit
you will probably use something like idk, ...
serveredit virtualserver_needed_identity_security_level=8

I host the server by instantvchat. I'm the server admin and I can change the security level.
But do I have to change it to something? Or do I have to contact my host?

Confused here now...
First you say that People cannot connect to YOUR Server anymore, then in the second Post you say that your Friend is having this Problem on HIS Server.
So what Server is actually the Problem here? Your Server or the Server from your Friend?
Whatever Server the Problem is on that Server needs to be edited to require a Security Level of 8, If nobody can connect then whoever is renting the Server needs to contact whoever is hosting the server for him.
Wow, what a nice Sentence xD PS: Did I mention yet that I love these "I got a Friend, who got a Friend who got a Problem" Situations?

Actually both of the servers. My server is fixed, the father of someone on my ts is a ts hoster. So he knew what to do. But the other server isn't fixed yet, i guess... He needs to contact the host and solve the problem.
(On my server only the leader of a clan couldn't join. On the other server nobody was able to join.)
Btw thx for your time!
And sry for bad english >.<

Your english is fine, if you are refering to my tiny sentence in the previous post I was actually referring to my own Sentence that time

Anyways your Server didn't seem to have any issue since according to you it was set to Security Level 8 already. Out of curiosity: What was done to fix your Server?

Sry, didn't saw this faster.
He did it for me, so I'm not sure if this right. He said the security level was 44, I thought it was 8? (Confused there, because I didn't changed it)
He changed it to 10, and it was fixed...
