PTT recognition disapears

Hi,

First post so thanks for all of the great threads here. lots of help!


I am having an issue where my PTT button stops being recognised. It seems random and *may* be linked to alt-tabbing out of games.

The mouse button which is tied to my PTT ("." key") still works and registers in other software... just not TS3.

A restart of TS3 does not fix this. I have had to reboot to correct it in one instance.


I am running the latest version of TS3
Only using Default profile

mic is a Logitech USB desktop mic
SOundcard - Creative XiFi
Mouse - Logitech G9x


All other aspects of TS appear to be working ok.

I am upgrading from Setpoint 6.1 to the latest (6.32) to see if that helps.

I'd appreciate some input though as I'm sure others have come across this at some point

Try to set the Mousebutton as Hotkey directly, without the extra step of the Mouse Software translating the mousebutton into a keyboard key.
Might have to change the hotkey mode in ts3 so just play around with the 3 options TS3 offers with the latest Client. (Settings -> Hotkeys -> Dropdown above the Apply Button)

That makes my mousebutton the back button for browsing etc which is a total pain in the backside....

Unfortunately there is no way I am aware of in wondows to remove that as the default action it performs.
