TeamSpeak 3 Server 3.0.6 Hotfix 1 Released
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of version 3.0.6.1 of the TeamSpeak 3 Server. We have identified an issue which breaks functionality of the public Server List feature in our previous 3.0.6 releases. If you are potentially affected by the bug, then you will need to apply this update to recover from it.
Here's the full change log for versions 3.0.6 and 3.0.6.1:
As always, the update process is very simple. Simply extract the package file and overwrite all changed files on the server.Code:=== Server Release 3.0.6.1 29 June 2012 ! fixed broken weblist === Server Release 3.0.6 21 June 2012 - fixed broken queryclient database deletion + complaints feature was improved to prevent abusing + complaints creation/deletion events will now stored in the server log (client logging needs to be enabled) + ban rule creation/deletion events will now stored in the server log (client logging need to be enabled) + channelgrouplist/servergrouplist now indicate i_group_needed_modify_power, i_group_needed_member_add_power and i_group_needed_member_remove_power values + added permission b_channel_create_modify_with_force_password (forces clients to enter a password on channel creation) + added permission b_client_is_sticky (prevents clients from switching channels) + added permission b_client_ignore_sticky (ignores b_client_is_sticky) * command packets will be compressed to reduce network traffic (voice and filetransfer packets will not be affected)
As always we'd love to hear from you about your experiences. And we are always available to help with issues you may encounter. Please feel free to drop us a line in our community forums if you have any questions or feedback.

My servers all have a massive CPU usage after the update. Can the webliste be deactivated to verify if it's caused by that?

@massi:
you dont got that behaviour with the 3.0.6 server? or did you skipped that version ?
how many servers are we talking about ?
is the cpu usage constant high ?

I have 7 big instances with about 500 virtual servers each with mysql backend. It was okay with 3.0.6. I've tried both 3.0.6.1 x86 and amd64 with the same result.
The server uses quite constant 300-400% CPU. I've checked the threads with strace and they call select() all the time, e.g:
[root@ts ts3ni07]# strace -p 32319 -c
Process 32319 attached - interrupt to quit
[ Process PID=32319 runs in 32 bit mode. ]
Process 32319 detached
System call usage summary for 32 bit mode:
% time seconds usecs/call calls errors syscall
------ ----------- ----------- --------- --------- ----------------
100.00 0.272890 3 86330 select
------ ----------- ----------- --------- --------- ----------------
100.00 0.272890 86330 total
Can I rollback to 3.0.6, or should I avoid that because of db changes?
//Edit/Add:
Disabling it for each virtual instance would be a very pain in the ass
Is there no global startup option for that?

The downgrade to server 3.0.6 with SQL and MySqL should work. I tried a downgrade on both databases and got no errors.
But you better create a backup of your big Database
Can you reply, if this will solve the cpu usage?---------------------------------------------------------

Okay. It might be has nothing to do with 3.0.6.1.
It seems that now the old version also consumes that massive CPU usage on startup. That's not good :/

Are you sure that "leap second" from last weekend isn't consuming all that cpu ?
