    Making system volume ignore TS

    Hi,

I've been looking for a way to still use my basic volume control buttons to lower my system volume, but to leave the TS3 volume the same. However, I haven't found anything that comes even close to this function. Does anyone here knows a solution? Thanks in advance!

    Define "System Volume"?
If you mean as in System Sounds there is a Slider for that if you click the Speaker Icon and then Mixer.

If you mean overall Volume of anything but TeamSpeak you'd need to lower the volume slider for whatever Applications are running at that time.

All Volume Buttons I know (on keyboards for example) just do the Overall Volume which includes all Applications using the soundsystem, no application volume can be higher than the overall one.

So it'd seem you are out of luck

I indeed mean the overall volume. The whole story behind my question: Currently I'm using my headset for TS only, and all other sounds go to my speakers. As my headset (with TS) is not the default audio output, the volume controls on my keyboard will be applied to anything but TS, which is just the way I like it. However, I'm planning to go headset only, and I would still like to be able to control everything but TS with the volume buttons on my keyboard.

The only thing that I have found that might work is using Virtual Audio Cable to create a virtual audio device, set that as the default audio output for windows, then have Virtual Audio Cable us that output as input for my headset. This way I can still put TS on my headset, and it won't be affected by the volume controls. However, Virtual Audio Cable will not remember the settings, so I would have to go through most of the steps again each time I restart my PC. Also, it seems like a bit expensive to use it just for that, and in total it seems like a complex way to get to my goal.

As said, I hoped TS would have such an option available, or perhaps a plugin. But it seems you're right and I'm out of luck. Thanks anyway!
