Can't activate TS Overlay 3.5.5

I can't manage to make the TS Overlay work in the latest patches and for sure I could use it before in the same game

I'm on Windows 7 x32
TS 3.0.7
TS Overlay 3.5.5
Game: Mount & Blade: Warband

I have the activation key F12 for TS Overlay and I use Caps Lock to speak. No matter how many times I press F12 that I can't see it activated.

The plugin is marked in Settings -> Plugins... Am I missing something else?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling TS, but nothing changes.

It would be nice if you could test this with another game than mount & blade to see if this is only game related.

I have updated TS Overlay to 3.5.6.

It doesn't work with Minecraft either, for example. But it works with some other games, like Crusader Kings II, so it seems to be game related, indeed.

In the file AppData/Roaming/ts3overlay/config_user.ini, I saw that, for the games that it worked, a new entry was added for them, stating something like that tsoverlay doesn't crash with that application. But I don't see any new entry for Mount & Blade: Warband nor for Minecraft.

EDIT: Is there any way to configure the TSOverlay for a certain application? How?

Hey again.

The overlay will not work with Minecraft since the game is written in java ;/
There are profiles for games detected by the overlay you can find it on the first page in your plugins/overlay settings.

I'll try to organize Mount & Blade to see if it doesn't work for me too.

However you could try to close teamspeak and delete the "AppData/Roaming/ts3overlay/config_user.ini"
to give it a retry with that new overlay version... maybe this works

That didn't work either.

A further explanation of the problem was that I was using the Mod "c-RPG" of "Mount & Blade: Warband"... and I think it is also because I have Windows 7. Notice that the Mod has its own launcher (separate from the original .exe of the game).

The solution was simply to run Teamspeak as Administrator by right clicking the executable (or shortcut) of TS and selecting the option to Run as Administrator".

I hope it helps somebody else when the Overlay doesn't want to show up
