Firstly you should be sure that you're running latest teamspeak AND debian version.
Latest teamspeak version is 3.0.6.1. Latest debian version is 6.0.5 or 7.0, depeneds on stable or testing distro. Make sure you have latest updates (apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade).

Check codename of your distro. Current stable distro is named "squeeze" and testing distro is named "wheezy". So basicly any of these four are valid. If you have valid distro then just execute command apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade as root

I executed commands what you told to execute. But problem not solved.
I downloaded TS3 Linux Server amd64 3.0.6.1, and send it to server via FTP.
I don't know what is "distro".
Edit: I think codename of my distro is squeeze.Last edited by Anaalisankari; 12-07-2012 at 00:50.

Hi,
do not upload an extracted server folder via ftp. It certainly breaks permissions and in some cases (ascii vs binary mode) it even corrupts the files. Download the TS3 server directly to the root server (e.g. using wget), and extract it there. View the server_quickstart.txt file that is shipped with each server download for details. You think my answer is stupid ? Read This:

Just use wget <link_to_file_here>.tar.gz then unpack it with tar xvfz <name>.tar.gz
