    Solved Server Identity changed not working properly

    I was connected to my Server, testing the Ban Issue that someone told me about (also reported in these Forums) resulting in the server crashing. When I quickly restarted it I forgot to specify my ini File which resulted in a new database to be used. When the client autoreconnected there was no warning about the changed Identify of the server! However after I quit the server and started the correct one again suddenly there was the Warning about a changed Identity.

    However the Identity DID already change before without a warning, which is bad and kinda renders the whole thing useless.

    Hmm This was build in for the bookmarks.

    Maybe this needs to get improved.

    The initial Connection was done through Bookmark.
    Both additional connections came to place through Auto Reconnection since the first time the server instance terminated (assertion failed) and the second time because I stopped the server and started it again with the correct Database.

    This is no bug.

    You don't get the dialog, when there is a new database, that ask the client for the priviledge key. The client overwrites the suid on such a connect automatically. Your third conenct had had a different suid as server 2 showed up.

    No changes needed here
