Solved Cannot set or use keyboard PTT after connecting to a server

Running Vista on an Asus laptop, TS3 v3.0.7 running as admin. Prior to connecting to a server, I can set a keyboard key to PTT. However, after I connect to a server, the previously configured key will not function regardless of what window is active, and attempting to set any key to PTT has no effect (it won't accept it). A mouse button can be set and used as PTT normally.

Make sure you got the proper Hotkey Profile selected for the Server you are connecting to. You can check when you are connected on to the server (needs to be the current Tab) by clicking Self -> Hotkey Profile. There must be a checkmark in front of one of them, if not select the one you assigned your PTT Key to. For Future Connections fix this in your Bookmark (Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks -> Select Server -> More -> Hotkey Profile).

If above was not the cause go to Settings -> Options -> Hotkeys and at the bottom right (above the Apply Button) select a different Hotkey Method from the Dropdown. Hit Apply, restart the Client, reassign your PTT Hotkey and see if it works.

Changing the hotkey method to "keyboard & mouse only" seems to have fixed it.
