Permissions Disappearing?!

Hi all! Recently, I modified some Client Permissions and Channel Client Permissions.
My server has never been restarted and what happens is that after a while those permissions are set back to default for absolutely no reason. I can't understand why it happens but today, for example, I checked them for some users and they went back to original value.

How can I avoid that? Why is it happening?

If you checked them and they (kinda) instantly reverted to its previous state you do not have the permissions to modify that Permission. See your Serverchat for the error. Most likely you do not have grant power for the permission you tried to assign.

Also make sure that your Server is the latest Version (3.0.6.1 as of this writing)

I am server admin, so I think I should be able to grant them without problems.
How can I check server version?

Being Server Admin doesn't mean anything... I can give you Server Admin yet you still won't be able to do anything...

If Permissions got removed from Server Admin you cannot do it.

ServerVersion is being displayed in the Client when you click the Servername in the channel tree.

I hope updates haven't altered permissions somehow.

Updates usually only add Permissions that are new to certain groups (only the default ones if not changed). As there were no new Permissions lately there was no need to change Permissions... Also only Server Updates can do this.

Some feedback:

A dude on our TS could not update himself with server groups this morning. He updated the TS version when he joined later tonight and can now add his own server groups. :/
