Team Speak 3 takes a while to open
Hello,
Ever since I did a clean Windows 7 install few days ago, I noticed my Team Speak 3 takes a lot longer to open.
I am using latest version (Which is 3.0.8 I think), when I open Team Speak 3 I can see the icon at the taskbar but I can't do anything with it, as if the program was frozen, then few seconds later (~10-15 seconds) it opens.
What could be causing this? I heard a clan mate is also having the same issue since he re-installed Windows 7, I never had this happen to me.
It is not a huge deal as it still opens and works fine, but I'd prefer if it loaded instantly as it used to do before.
My computer specs: i7 2600k, ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution B3, 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws X 1600MHz CL7, 2x GTX680, SSD Vertex 2 120GB.
Edit: I noticed I posted this in the wrong section, I will post it on the client section instead.Last edited by kcuestag; 17-07-2012 at 14:53. Reason: wrong section

We have noticed this issue as well and are currently investigating what causes the delay on startup, unfortunately without result so far.
The good news is, this seems to happen only once after reboot, at least in our tests. Subsequent client starts are instant, probably because the Windows Vista/7 cache already contains the code.
It doesn't seem to be a 3.0.8 issue, we noticed it with 3.0.7 as well, but it didn't happen on on all systems.
Anyways, not much more info yet, we are looking into this.

Well that's a shame, it's really annoying having to wait that much for TS3 to open.

I forgot to ask for a log file.
This is needed for our developers.
Both thread are related to each other.

I also have this issue when the client is slow while opening running Windows 7 x64. Im using Teamspeak 3.0.10, if i revert back to version 3.0.6 thel teamspeak ui lag stops but 3.0.10 is required now to connect to all servers. Is there any fix for this or a way to change the identity of the 3.06 client to join 3.0.7 server because all these new teamspeak clients have this issue beyond 3.0.6 for me.
My system specs are
EVGA X79 FTW K2 41 | I7-3820 | Geil black dragon 4x8gb 32gb 1666mhz | EVGA GTX 280
Revodrive 120gb | Vertex 3 60gb x2 Raid0 | Pioneer DVR-215D | Silverstone Decathlon 850w | Silverstone TJ09

This turned out to be an issue with windows, when you launch the program, windows exits it again and restarts it with additional permissions, which are required for us to be able to detect hotkeys properly.
