Solved Ban Doesn't Ban A Specific Player?

Ok if this is in the wrong section my apolgies, i just really need this fixed quickly as it's been a problem all day!

So basically, somebody keeps coming into the teamspeak and trolling, when perm banned he comes back with a different name and resumes his trolling. The ban essentially kicks him, any way i can get this sorted?

Note - Is banning his IP an option if so, PLEASE how do i do it, also, i have no knowledge of computers really, so a simple way of banning IP would be appreciated, thanks.

Oh also, is there a way to set it so that a server group can bypass a password so that if there is no other solution we can just set a password to our teamspeak (Server not channel)

Assign b_virtualserver_join_ignore_password to your Servergroup you want to join without having to enter the server password.

If you ban someone while he is online by right clicking his name -> Ban it will automatically ban his IP.

Putting a password on the server will be the easiest solution for now... He will quickly give up if he cant figure the password on his first few attempts..

You can also restrict the guest group on your server.
If an user creates a new identity, its always a guest on first connect (unless they use a token).

Offline bans with most recent public server/client also bans IP, it uses the most recent IP of the client stored in the database. So, if you are up-to-date and ban the client you should be getting his IP already.

Thanks for trying to help but there's an issue i'm afraid, im aware it bans his IP but he has some sort of IP generator?
The ban list has his various names banned and his IP is slightly different in each one :/
For example, 199.255.210.70 then the next one is 199.255.210.71
So i'm wondering is it possible to ban all IP adresses that begin with 199.255.210? And will this restrict multiple users joining (In other words, can only one person have 199.255.210 within their IP?)
Assuming this doesnt work, how do i use that b_virtualserver_join_ignore_password thing? (Apologies, i'm new to using advanced parts of teamspeak)
    Thanks again.

Do you know if it's possible to restrict it to a point where Guests can't actually speak? This way i could just make it so all people in the server are Normals

Sure you can ban everyone who got their IP starting with 199.255.210 by just adding a ban for 199\.255\.210.* in the IP Field selecting Regular Expression as Mode. It will ban up to 254 people but its very unlikely that happens

Yes you can disallow them to speak in any channel by just giving guests an i_client_talk_power of -10
PS: There is an Edit Button No need to double Post.

Just set the Default Channel to "Moderated", i. e. set the "needed talk power" of the channel higher than the "talk power" of the guest group.
SilentStorm can explain to you how to prevent Guests to leave the Default channel

SilentStorm already explained to him how to do what he asked for namely deny guests to speak You do realize Guests can connect to a non Default Channel as well right

As for disallowing Guests to leave their Channel assign b_client_is_sticky to the Guest Group. You can also prevent them from requesting Talk Power in moderated channels by assigning b_client_request_talker and making the Box unchecked.

Alcazar can explain to you how to prevent them from poking if you are interested
