Solved Problem: System Sound conceived as microphone input

    My Problem:
Teamspeak detects the system sounds (music, videos played in my computer either from saved files or played through the internet) and conceives them as microphone sounds, thus transmitting the sound to the other users in the channel when I press the transmit button or when I have voice activation.I have gone through the forum but did not come across a solution.

    My System information:
My computer has been formatted, and has only been updated with the latest Microsoft updates, the basic driver updates and latest Teamspeak 3 Client version.
    OS: Windows 7
Sound Software: Realtek HD Audio Manager

Setup or Hardware Issue on your end...

Make sure to not have Stereo Mix enabled and also that your Mic is not too sensitive and or speakers are not way too loud.

PC is right after format (problem was same before format too), the setup was done simplest way possible, with no visible complications during the process.

    Stereo Mix is disabled.

TS takes system sounds even if no headset is pluged in, so it has nothing to do with speakers/mic sensitivity.

Check the Settings (namely device used) in TS3 Settings (Settings -> Options -> Capture) if it is set to default check the windows default device: Right click speaker icon in taskbar -> Recording Devices.
Whatever the device is it is for some reason getting audio input, which causes ts3 to send it. Teamspeak generally only uses what the operating system offers. if the device specified gets audio input thats the problem you need to fix. Its most likely unrelated to TS3.

Check if you get the same issue on Sound Recorder (type in startmenu to launch and record with that one)...

I resolved the issue! Thank you very much for the clarifications.

Solution: In Realtek HD Audio Manager, go to Device advanced settings and tick "Tie up same type of input jacks".
