Hi,
When I close TS3 3.0.8, TS3 will not unload and stays in the process list until it is the process is end tasked.
I have spoken to other users on our server and they have the same issues.
Thanks

I am seeing the same issue. The issue started with the 3.0.8 update - prior to that, the clients would close down correctly. Today's 3.0.8.1 update did not resolve the issue.
TS3 64-bit client starts and runs fine. When you exit the client (Ctrl+Q) the UI closes, but the ts3client_win64.exe still shows running in the Task Manager. No CPU is used, but it has memory allocated (18-30 MB). You can start a new client and it will start and run fine...until you close it and then you have another ts3client_win64.exe running. I have had 12 running before I realized something was not right with the client closing down cleanly.
I have removed all plug-ins and the issue still occurs. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit w/ SP1 and all current MS Security updates. There is no crash dump to submit, because there is no crash and the client log looks clean. If there is any other info i can provide on this, please give detailed instructions.

This log looks fine without any errors. Did an older client work without this problem?

That is correct...no crash, no errors. The client will not unload and remains a running process after the UI closes. This issue started with the 3.0.8 client. The 3.0.7 client did not have this issue.

I have the same problem, started with 64 bit client 3.0.8. I will try the Update to 3.0.8.1, we will see if the problem still persists.
Edit: nope no change....Last edited by Markusgo4; 01-08-2012 at 20:25.

3.0.6 was the last client to work fine. 7 and 8 do not unload.

AirMax, so client 3.0.6 still unloads without any probelms?
Does this problem appear,
- when you just start the client and close it without beeing connected to a server?
- when you change the hotkey captue system under Setrtings > Options > Hotkeys
You can chose between "Default", "Direct input" and "Keyboard & Mosue only"---------------------------------------------------------

Resolved -
I found the issue was tied directly to corrupted installation of Bitdefender 2013. After removing the TS3 unload fine, and after reinstall unloads fine.
Thank you for your help.

hmm, i am using bitdefender, but it is not corrupted.....
maybe the devs will look into this mishap.
by the way 3.0.6 isn't unloading normally.
Thankyou airmax for this hint.Last edited by Markusgo4; 03-08-2012 at 20:26.

I wrote a little batch file to kill the processes... I also got in contact with Bitdefender Support. Maybe i will get a feedback next week, otherwise i will call them.
the batch file:
open notepad
write this line for 64bit:
TASKKILL /F /T /IM ts3client_win64.exe
save it as killts.bat
when you exit TS just run the bat....

I can reproduce that the client process runs, after it was closed, but there is nothing we can do from our side :-/
I have tried to deactivate the firewall and antivirus tool ,that is included.
