USB Heaphone/Keyboard Problems
Firstly, I know the title may be a little confusing. Allow me to explain:
Yesterday, I got a pair of Corsair Vengance 2000 USB headphones, plugged the transmitter in and installed the driver software and rebooted the computer as Corsair reccommended. I left them overnight to charge for the minimum 4 hours and came back to it this morning. While testing out TS3 (Latest version installed), I attempted to set up PTT transmission with a binding to the left shift key. This, however, did not work. I tested the microphone on both voice detection and continuous transmission, and the microphone worked on that. In order to rule out a bad shift key, I attempted to reassign the PTT key, but no other key on my keyboard registered. After rebooting my client, I tested my keyboard in the chat bar, and all keys including the left shift worked. However, when I try to switch the PTT key, the client stops accepting keystroke input in any way, shape or form. While it's not accepting the input, I tried the keys on Google Chrome, and they work fine there. Currently audio of all types play fine through it, from both games and multimedia (movies, streaming video/audio). I am also encountering the same problem with Ventrilo with Left Control as the PTT key, so I want to rule this out as either a headphone, set up or software problem. I am using a Corsair K90 keyboard which may be part of the problem.
UPDATE: I've changed USB ports and that appears to have solved the problem. I've tested the port with other applications and systems, and they work fine with it, however I still have no idea why it solved the problem.Last edited by Sageofprofession; 27-07-2012 at 17:11.

Ok thank you for that feedback, I can not explain why this helped here.
The device is recognized as another device in your operation system by default. Maybe this wasa small driver issue trough the installation?
just for my interest:
Does it work, when you change the usb slot backto the old one?---------------------------------------------------------
