Push to talk wont work

I have been a teamspeak 3 user for over a year and i have never had this problem before it seems as if the button will not activate the microphone i use the caps lock key on a wired keyboard the caps lock will activate but the blue button for teamspeak will not this problem popped up suddenly as nearly a hour before i was on the same server talking and playing i then left to go on Skype then when i came back it stopped working i have uninstalled and re installed using the correct 64 bit download the problem still occurs i can hear myself and the caps button works when i test it in options but as soon as it gets to using it on the server it will not work i have searched the forums some people have the sameish problem with it but most of them have something to do with there in game that is not my problem i just cant talk in even when no game is open does anyone have any ideas i would how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated

I had the same thing happen to me last night, I have uninstalled and re installed teamspeak, but to no avail.
