Can't connect to my teamspeak server over localhost

Hello, i have a TS3 server running on a laptop, which is being handed an ip of 10.0.1.28 (LAN). I have tried to connect with 127.0.0.1 on the same laptop to no avail. I have windows firewall turned off as well. I'm not sure where to go from here, any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Dibes

if the firewall is trun off and u are connecting from the same pc that have ts3 server, the only think that can be stoping it from connecting is trying to enter the wrong port, the default ports is 9987 for users and 10011 for query users, i didn't tryed the thing that im going to say know but it maybe can work....
if u installed the 64bit version server in a 32bit computer.... its just an idea.

    i hope this help u,
    Luis Lopes.

    - or you have setup your server to listen to your external ip or lan ip? This makes it impossible to use the server from outside and does not allow to use 127.0.0.1 or the lan IP (depends on the used ip) for this.
Please make sure , that 127.0.0.1 is you real ip for the localhost.
