Hi, i'm very new in TS server magement.
I Just created a server for my guild, but our server was very week vor the amout of active people, soo we have rent a new server, a dedicated one. but i want to know if i can use my license to put on that new server, the older will be deleted if this works. is this posible? there is any rules against this act?
Another question, if I copy all the teamspeak serverfiles from the older server to the new will work? will save all the chanell and member list?

The old license agreement, would allow to move the license from one IP to another IP.
I have to ask our sales team for this and will reply here as soon as possible.

I guess you have to contact our sales team for the changes, but lets wait what answer i will get

Ok i have an answer for this.

This is for the current license agreement:

The License can be used on any machine, as long they use the same IP.

Means, you can move the license file from server with IP1 to the server with IP2, but you are not allowed to use the license on 2 server at the same time on 2 different IP's.
Or you can use the license on 2 different servers as long the server IP is the same.

    I have this Question too,

May I ask for a bit for info please, (I do wish there was a place that listed all the rules for NPLs, like on the web site)

I have a NPL, I also have a 2 VPSs (virtual_private-server), each has 5 IPs, and are hosted by 2 companies. So let say VPS(1) with 192.168.1.1-5 has the NPL hosted on it, and the NPL I made the NPL with on TeamSpeak NPL website was 192.168.1.1 and it is running and working. Now something comes up and I need to move the NPL to the 2nd VPS, VPS(2) and its IPs are 192.168.2.1-5 Now I will be host the NPL on VPS(2) with IP of 192.168.2.1 I am not running the NPL on both VPS at the same time, but I am changing VPSs and IPs.

Can this be done? Will it have a chance of me losing the NPL?

P.S. sorry, I can explain better if need be.

Ok first, the external IP is the IP for the license. I think you have used this LAN IP as an example instead the external IP.
I'm not sure if it is allowed to change the host. I guess it is ok, but i'm note sure with that.

Please contact sales@teamspeakusa.com for this question. I can not bug our team for every question, when they have there own ticket system for such cases.

Yes it will, make sure you copy the hole folder that has the server files in it.

All that is needed for CHannels and Users is the ts3server.sqlitedb, then for uploaded Files, Icons and Avatars the files Folder. Everything else except for the licensekey is not needed.
    tsdns/tsdns_settings.ini
    query_ip_whitelist.txt
    query_ip_blacklist.txt

can also be required depening on whether you use them or not.

This is off-topic! I do not delete the replies, but other users should find answers releated to thread title and nothing else.
