Solved insufficient client permissions (failed on i_channel_needed_subscribe_power)

    Hi all,

I made a change to one specific sub sub channel (I set the value Edit Channel > Permissions > Subscribe from 0 to 60). But this didn't give me the result I wanted to achieve so I reverted the channel subcribe value back to 0. But now all the guests get a "insufficient client permissions (failed on i_channel_needed_subscribe_power)" except for this sub channel I changed (which is now actually the only channel the guests can get a subscription for). I didn't change anything else (like server groups etc). I just changed the subcribe permission of one channel from 0 to 60 and back to 0 again. Anyone knows why all of a sudden for all guests it doesn't work anymore after I've changed it back to the original value of 0?

EDIT: on top of that, due to this little change on one channel, TSviewer and gametracker are unable to check the TS server with the error "Code: 2568 insufficient client permissions (failed on clientlist 13697/0x3581)" even though I re-checked all required permission settings as written in their FAQ (and it worked perfectly fine since we had this server up until the subscribe value change of this one channel).

Please open the channel permission dialog with an right-click on that channel and check the i_channel_needed_subscribe_power there. Maybe it is still 60 and did not change back.

What does your client permissions overview say, when you are in the channel? (Right-click on yourself > Permissions > Permission overview)
What is the value for i_channel_needed_subscribe_power?

The changed channel is indeed back to 0 in the channel permission dialog (just to be sure I also restarted the server to see if it helped). So all channels have a value of 0. As a guest I cannot check my client permissions (greyed out), but as an admin the i_channel_needed_subscribe_power for the channel in the permissions overview of my username is also set to 0.

i_channel_needed_subscribe_power is no permission that should be set on yourself

Can you send me an invite to your server in a private message?
I want to have a look at the permissions. (maybe i will need some permissions to get an overlook)

Update: if I check all the other channels via Edit Channel > Permissions > Subscribe they are set to 0. But if I check the channels by right clicking the channel > Channel Permissions > i_channel_needed_subscribe_power the value is 75. So it seems, by changing this one channel, all the other channels have changed as well?

EDIT: I'll sent the PM right away, thanks.
