    TeamSpeak3 Startup Slow

    I have a very high end computer with 16 gb DDR3 ram and core i7 3770k 3.5mhz cpu, and the gtx 680 lodged in my computer the mainboard is the sabertooth z77 and Windows is on a SSD Samsung 830 256GB. All of this is pretty irrelevant but consider the facts. Everything i open on my computer, every program, snaps open instantly. TS3 takes 20 seconds or longer to open after double clicked it. I can the see the Icon in the Taskbar but i can't klick on it.
    Iv reinstalled it a few times to no prevail.
    I do several defrags / virus scans / spyware / registry clean outs every month.
    Any solutions?
    PS after the program launches its absolutely fine after that.

    It starts much faster,when you close it and just start it again?
    We are aware of that problem and it seems that problem appeared with client 3.0.7 and newer :-/
    Do you conenct on startup to a server?

    No it does not start quickly. When I open my TS, it always takes 20 seconds and yes, I have already connected to a server

    No i asked, does your client automatically connect on startup to a server?
    You can enable such a setting for your bookmark.


    Was it faster in older client versions? (What client was working better then?)
    Whhat does your client log say? Can you paste it here?

    No i asked, does your client automatically connect on startup to a server?
    No it will not connect at startup

    You can enable such a setting for your bookmark.
    I just tried but same result

    Was it faster in older client versions? (What client was working better then?)
    I built the PC a few days before

    The log shows, that your client needs 10 seconds to recognize your input devices.
    What keyboard and mouse or gamepads are connected?

    Can you try to change the hotkey system under Settings > Options > Hotkeys
    I guess it is setup to default. Please try "Direct Input" or "Keyboard & Mouse Only" instead.

    Keyboard=Razer Lycosa:::::Mouse=Razer Taipan
    Driver Install from the Razer Website

    Did u installed the normal Razer Driver or the new one "Razer Synapse". Ive got the same issue. If i select Keyboard & Mouse only then it works.

    I have the same issue, and it's interesting, I also have a Razer product, it's a Razer Black Widow Ultimate and I am using their "Razer Synapse 2.0" software.

    Coincidence? Or Razer is causing it?

    I'am having the same problem also with teh razer software. Changed it to mouse&keyboard and problem solved.
    i have the razer taipan with synapse 2.0.

    Just tried removing Synapse 2.0 and rebooting and Team Speak 3 still loads quite slow as usual, could you please tell me what exactly have you done?

    He just changed the Hotkey Dectection Method as explained by dante above.
