TS3 Poor quality and crackling sound

    Hey,

So basicaly when one of my friends talk rather loud his voice starts crack and sounds terrible in general. This never happend to anyone else i talked to, but sometimes when people talk the quality on their voice is rather bad.

I'm using a G35 USB headset, I had an old one which broke, so right now im using a completly new one (from warranty) so it's not my headset. Also I'm 100% sure it's not his voice either becuase this problem never occours in any other voice chat application. The reason I have to use teamspeak is because I'm in a clan, and listening to this friend of mine is unbearable, my ears are bleeding.

I've done everything from configure the settings to reinstalling the headset and ts3.

If I remember correcly this problem started somewhere around the 20th July could be earlier or later, not sure.

I seriously need to get this fixed, so please help!

    DUPlicate.
No need to post the same thread twice!!!

As for the Topic: Everyone will start sounding crappy when they start screaming, or when you got either your main Volume or the Volume for that specific Client raised to the sky... (everything above +7db will likely cause this phenomena).
In addition to that his Microphone might be broken or (since he is screaming already) not able to properly reflect the input and overmodulate, causing the bad quality.

Ye well sorry for the double post, i just need help ASAP. I tried turning him down to like -5 dB. Makes no change, he can just speak normally with a higher tone and it will start crack again, this doesn't happen at all in for instance skype. Never used to happen in ts3 before either...

Odd...you're sure it's not his microphone? What are his specs?

You can try to right click on him and adjust his volume to a certain negative value of decibels.

I'm not sure of his specs, but i highly doubt it's him. He just got a new headset before this started to happen, and as I said it works just fine in any nother voice chat. I can't turn him down more than -5dB then i can barely hear him
