Buffer to small in Local Test-Mode
Hi.
Just wanted to report how I got an
tsSpeexDecode: Buffer to small max:58 fra:3
Alertbox and how I solved the problem.
Setup:
Athlon XP2600, Asus A7N8X Deluxe (nforce2 onboad sound), 512MB
Latest Nvidia Reference Drivers for nforce2 (Audio Driver Version 6.14.0348.0 (3.48) dated 6/17/2003)
Win2000sp4, DX9b
Latest TS-Client RC2 not the beta.
UT2003 2225
How I got it:
Using TS in Local-Test-Mode with Speex12.3, Voice Act., Wave-Sounddriver, Direct Sound Buffer Size set to "middle" (does that make a difference when not using the direct sound-driver?)
Started up UT2003 to test TS ingame.
After abt. 1 minute of talking Local-Test-Mode stops echoing. Leaving the game i find an alert-box stating above message.
How I solved it:
Setting Priority to high.
If you need me to reproduce the problem with debug-log please tell me.
bye Ralf
