Stereo Mix + Mic

I usually have my mic and headphones in at the same time but I'd like to play music through my computer via Stereo Mix and still be able to talk if needed through Mic to my friends.

I tried it before with Mic + Stereo Mix but the feedback was unreal and mega screeching because it was playing my music over itself LOADS of times.

Anyone know the solution

This is only possible with a second sound card. This has been answered before.
This won't work, when you hardware/drivers do not allow to setup 2 recording devices at the same time.

A cheap way of doing it would be to still use stereomix but unmute your microphone in your Playback devices (so you would hear yourself talking). That way, if you output your stereo mix, people will hear your music and your voice. But this of course has it's downsides.

This will work using the TS3 Soundboard plugin.
You can play music with Winamp and talk at the same time.
