Solved Moving TS3 from local WHS (32bit) to an V-Server with WWS2008 (64bit)

    Hi there.

After some Thunderstorms my own Server is wrecked and I have to move TS3 earlier as planed to an hosted V-Server.

It was on Windows Home Server - 32bit. The new Server runs on Windows Web Server 2008 - 64bit. My Idea is now to do a new clean instalation on the new server, than I will have to copy the licence file and the database...?

If you want to move your Server from one System to another, all you need is the files Folder (if you want to keep uploaded Icons, Avatars and Files), the Database file (ts3server.sqlitedb) and the licensekey.dat as well as the ts3server.ini (if you use / created one).

    Thank you SilentStorm.
This sounds easy. Will all logins stay the same?

The file ts3server.sqlitedb contains all information (server, channel, user, permissions and so on) if you are using the default sqlite database plugin.

worked all fine, instead of building a service. the manuel is good, looked easy, but i got the message, that it produced a failuer and it was rollbacked... need more time to look at it.
