TS Locks up. Please Help
Dear TS Guru's. I have recently done a new install. I have also bought a new Graphics card, a Radeon 9800 Pro. I also upgraded my PSU to a 550 Watt. The PC is running fine but when I connect to TS and whether Im in a game or not after a time which varies TS locks up my PC and I just get repeating sound. I have to reboot. My system is as follows:
AMD 2600 XP
nforce 2 Mobo K7N2G (6570G) MSI
Radeon 9800 Pro 128
SB Audigy 2 Platinum
1024 Meg 333DDR RAM
Dont think u need to know the rest. But any help would be appreciated. In addition I have reinstalled the SB Audigy 2 sound drivers several times without success. I have also checked the IRQ assignments to make sure there isn't a conflict and they are OK. Cheers guys and I do hope you can sort out my problem.

do you use any usb-devices?
logitech usb-devices are known to cause such problems, so perhaps try to unplug that usb-device and test again. After finding out what caused the problems you can search for new drivers that could fix the problem. (if your running winxp then an application normally can't lock up your computer, so it has to be a driver problem.)

Re USB Devices
I have unplugged all my USB devices as suggested. It didn't work though. I have a Phillips Camera, SPV E100 phone cradle with activesync installed, Gamevoice and a couple of other things which aren't plugged in at the moment. I have disconnected everything as I said but no Joy. Any other suggestions gratefully received............
Thanks

I have a Lockup issue too!
I am to fighting the same lockup issue but my problem is random. However, it is always with TS running.
In my sig is my system specs but I do have a Logitech MX700 Mouse and Elite Keyboard. I am not currently using Logitech drivers/software. However, I can install both of the drivers/software if that will correct my issue. I hate the keyboard software from logitech since is does not allow XP to close properly.
I play BF1942/DC and Amercias Army almost daily. Either when I enter a game or leave a game my PC locks up and I hear either a loud high pitch sound or the last persons voice repeating. This can also happen if I Alt-Tab from the game(s). If I keep TS closed I can start/close/alt-tab many times without a lock up. I have done each 10 times in a roll with out issue but once I open TS I get a lock up pretty quick, sometimes on the first start/close/alt-tab.
Current TS is 2.2.0.32.60
All my hardware drivers are up to date and my ASUS bios is too as of 09/23/2002.
****Updated #1****
Well I just installed both the driver/software for the Logitech USB mouse/keyboard. Not sure it is 100% corrected but I think it has helped. I was able to Alt-Tab out of Americas Amry about 10 times without any lock ups. Also, I joined/left a game about 5 times and no lockups. Tomorrow I will do more testing with BF1942 and AA0 with lots more joining and alt-tabbing. The only bad part about my test is that there was no one on my TS but I did go onto the TS Public for a bit and had a user there for a little bit. I hope it is fixed......
***Update #2 09/24/03***
Well so far no lock ups with BF1942 or AAO. This is looking real good after the Logitech driver/software install. If this fixes it, I believe it will be the keyboard software. Since I was having this lockup before I re-installed WinXP yesterday and I had the mouse stuff installed before the re-install.
I really dislike the Logitech Keyboard software but if it keeps WinXP from locking up then I will live with it. I just wished Logitech would come out with a new version that allows XP to shut-down/log-off correctly. Hell their current version came out 11/02!
