cant tell you why your TS2 is not working, but the 3 IPs are simple.
the 10.25.7.105 = an interal IP LAN (Local area network) address and is not public. it is behind your router that is using NAT (network address translation) to creat that IP
206.48.0.2 = WAN (wide area network) IP. this is your real world IP from your ISP
169.254.26.154 = default windows IP created for a Network device. be it a modem, or a NIC (network card)
my guess, and this is only a guess as im very new to this program, is you need to configure your router to handle the ports 1023-65555 and map them (better to use port triggering, but straight mapping works) to your TS2 server. that will alow outside clients to connect to your internal server.
well should. someone with much more experiance should be able to answere better, but from what ive read this would be close to getting you down the right path i hope.

...but you have a DSL modem ? This modem is almost surely doing NAT. Raed what's in the server manual statet about "port forwarding". Or do a search in this forum for port forwarding. You will need to read your access device manual for how to do the forwarding !
PS: forget about the ASAP in your subject the next time you post in any forum ! People will help you when they have time !

Are you sure guldi?
As far as I know most DSL modems run in bridge mode and are not doing NAT. But its a possibility he should check.
Also check if you have a personal firewall running. Including the default firealls of your OS (XP has one for example).
Ther you must allow incoming connections and UDP traffic on port 8767.

@Dummer Sack
You are right. It's probably dangerous to say it that explicite. I know only the situation in Switzerland when I bought my ADSL device (some years ago :-)
It's probably safe to say: as long as you can use more then one PC behind your Modem, it does something like NAT.Last edited by guldi; 08-10-2003 at 12:48.
