yep...
well same story here.. first i unzipped the patch put it over the old one.. started it from everywhere.. but still the same "ghost" thing as niels called it.. it aint running.. well only at procceses but nowhere else... then i tryed the reboot and reinstall of ts2 but no luck whit that to.. patch doesnt do a thing..Originally posted by tenzero
As for the "patch", I downloaded the patch and unzipped the new teamspeak.exe file into the directory and it overwrote the old .exe file. I attempted to start TS, but once again it did the same thing.
I rebooted and tried again. Same thing...ghost TS. Thx for working on the problem though. I appreciate the reply.
but anyway.. i am very happy to see somebody is working on it..
i had a problem whit rw (roger wilco) posted on the forum got 1 reply to send more info what i dit... but i never got anything back no e-mail no response on the forum and that whas 3 months ago... lucky ts crew is working here

psssssst on IRC I am known as PromoWouter..... no surprise?Originally posted by tenzero
That sounds like a "Promotions" department answer.
President Clinton would have liked that one.
I do not have a "log" file to send. None is ever generated.

ok try this patch (same instructions)

This prob wont help you startup ts but.
1: With any luck a message window will show with an error
2: With more luck, TSclient.log will be created
3: TS wil not "ghost" any more, but just quit, like it should.
IF you still dont get any error messages, we will need some 1 on 1 contact. Send me your emailadress ( niels@teamspeak.org ) and i will make a very special version for you to test wtf is going on

Okay..patch 17 was already up so I didn't try patch 16. I downloaded patch17 and unzipped it into my TS2 folder...it prompted to replace, I said "yes" and then rebooted. I attempted to start TS2..but go same "Ghost" TS.
I'll try patch 16...then retry 17.
Once again..thx for working on this.

Okay...I downloaded patch16 this time and tried it. It actually opened TS2. wOOt!! I then attempted to connect to my Division's WWIIOnline server. It appeared to connect but then locked up. So I now at least have a .log file. How would you like me to send it?
Email? or ?

Okay...w/ Patch16 I have successfully connected to my Division server and transmit and receive appear to be working.
Should I attempt Patch17 again or just stick w/ Patch 16??
I don't know what ya did..but it appeared to have worked w/ Patch 16. (I never tried Patch 15)
I will also test in-game (WWIIOnline). If you can PM me w/ what the problem might have been and which patch you feel is the best fix. I will notify all my gaming buddies using TS in case they or friends experience same problem. We will post results and TS praise on our website.

Still working w/out lock up so far. Have not tested in-game; however, I have tested w/ a "channel file" from our WWIIOnline Division. Switches channels fine and send and receive are working flawlessly so far.
Going to test in-game.
