Linux PulseAudio popping sounds
When starting or stopping the playing of a sound, like the "chat_message_*.wav", in PulseAudio, there can be a slight pop in the sound sometimes before and usually after the sound is played. This sound is very irritating. I don't experience this with any other applications.
Debian Jessie, up to date.
I'm using client version 3.0.13, but this problem has persisted for some time.
This appears to only happen in playback mode PulseAudio, when pavucontrol says something like "alsa_output.pci-0000_00_14.2.analog-stereorender". Now, I switch back and forth between ALSA, where pavucontrol says "ALSA plug-in: ALSA Playback" and PulseAudio, where it says "ts3.pa.dummy.playbackdefaultrender", this problem doesn't occur.
