see your mixer-options, most probably you didn't select your microphone as recording device but as output device... also make sure to deactivate wave-sound recording.

    Angry cant talk either

I am having the same problem and followed all instuctions I could find in the posts on this board. I have not fixed it as of yet. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled teamspeak several times. My sound card works fine. I also have a friend that is experiancing the same problems. No telling what is up!!!!!

    1) can you record by using the windwos wave recorder ?
    2) can you hear yourself by using the TS locale loopback mode (if voiceactivation: set it to a appropriate level ?) ?
    3) try switching from wave to direct sound or vice versa.

    Success!

I had to play around with the speakers/mic on the SB Mixer and on the TS sound options and whatever I did worked. I still get a humm....but it seems that it is something to do with grounding, it disappears after I hold my foot to the base of the computer (go figure). For me it was the mixer options.

I hope that helps, thanks to TS for your help, I couldnt have done it without you!
