Stuttering is bad news
G'Day,
Tried everything on this forum... Cannot get rid of the stuttering. XP P4 1.7 Plantronics DSP 500. Used all codecs, use wave and DS, tried it all. Stuttering is still bad.
Any suggestions?
Regards,
~Zer0

Some of my members are having these very issues. It works just fine outside the game (Medal of Honor) but soon as they enter the game... a large amount of skipping occurs.

DSP Issues
I had the same probs.. and fixed it.. leave your priority to normal in ts 2.0.. hit ctrl - alt - del, then goto processes.. find the teamspeak.exe and right click it.. goto set priority and set it to high.. everything worked great for me after that.. out and in game. only thing im not sure about atm is if you have to do that everytime u launch ts, cause i havent disconnected or rebooted yet
Tested out quitting and reloading.. and yes you have to reset the priotiry each time u quit tsLast edited by X2K-Rykhas; 28-08-2002 at 04:08.

You could use a batch file to start TeamSpeak with a custom priority.
start /<priority> <program>

This problem seems to be affecting dial-up players the most, although I see some DSL/Cable players report stuttering as well.
Stuttering is experienced mostly by players in-game. While a player out of game transmits to a player in-game, the sound is choppy. When the player in-game responds to the player out-of-game, the transmission sounds fine. I've tried this with several players.
Changing priorities of the client and server doesn't seem to change the stuttering problem.
