Setting up a Registered User

Not sure if this has been suggested before but...

It would be nice if an admin could create a user PIF/DAT type file for a new user account that could be sent to a user, they just install the PIF and the correct username/password/login and IP info is set into the Connect server menu list.

I have my TS server PW protected to keep wanderers from lurking in the main channel all the time, so I have to setup an account for each person that wants on my TS or give them the TS main channel password to get in and register. Some times (most of the time) trying to walk these people through setting up a permanent registered Connect item and to get them to do it right is a very long drawn out process.

for the final it's planned that you can automatically add the registered login data to your local addressbook after registering with the server.

in the current version you could create a web-link for those users (or even a windows-shortcut) with the parameters which are given in the client-manual under Connection / Connect (you have to scroll down to the bottom of that page.)

btw: I think we even wanted to implement exporting settings, and local-addressbooks, so you could export that server-entry and he would only have to import it...
