Windows 7 and Ts 2 and 3

Okay I have TS2 installed on my pc and I have TS3 through AA3.

Now I can't be heard through any of these prgrams - in fact on TS2 I am muted

I get a warning when I launch TS2 saying this:

"TDSoundOut.Open (Direct Sound Create): No Sound driver is available for use

now I have an x-fi fatal1ty soundcard and the drivers are up to date.

any ideas at all?

It seems like your microphone is not recognized, are you sure you put it into the correct port?

ZeroTKA - thanks - the message has gone

Fanchen - I think you may have something with that - the only way I can hear myself when setting the mic up through windows is if the +20db button is on but I can hear myself speaking through my headset - I might have to buy a seperate mic from my headset - it is in the right place though

Will this wont fix the problem I'm having with TS3 but I'll post in that part of teh forum

thanks again

If you can hear yourself its probably because your sound card has an mute option on the playback side of the device that needs to be muted to prevent that.
