[Solve] TS3 Save server options?

Hello all,

I host a own server (HOMEHOST)
But everytime i update my TS3 Client is says: That my TS3 server is a old version. So i donwload the newest version of TS3 server.
But than i need to make all the channels again, And make my friends Server Admin again etc etc etc.

So my question is: If i download the newest TS3 server, How to add my old server options to it? I dont wanna remake all the channels again etc!

Ok because i try to do that allready before but i still got the old version than.. Can someone tell what what maps i need to overwrite?
Not the exe file right?

I assume you are using the default SQL file. I have not upgraded but my assumption is if you backup ts3server.sqlitedb (holds all your server settings) you should be able to put it back in the server directory and have what you need. Not positive but it's worth a shot

Can someone provide instructions on how to do the update?

I am currently running beta 15 and would like to update to beta 18. Since I am not real good with command line is there a way to run the update on the server through the client as superadmin?

Backup:

ts3server.sqlitedb
licensekey.dat
serverkey.dat
(server.ini) ?? i cant found it at beta17 linux

,overwrite all files with beta18 and then:

play the 3 backup files into server folder and overwrite the 3 Files.

set chmod 777: ts3server.sqlitedb
(else the server cant write inside the database lol)

start the server

I have also a homehost, and i take the zip file and copy all these files in zip to the old ts server Folder.

All Channels are here so i think u made a mistake.
Because i did it all serverupdates same way

and no problems
