TS2 not wanting to run on Win 98
I have a member of my Division that can't seem to get TS2 to run on his PC.
Win98 on a Dell Dimension P3 500 w/ 640megs of RAM. Didn't have any probs with TS1.22
Once he runs TS2 (And it doesn't show running in my tray)..it shows running if he Ctrl-Alt-Del, But then when he clicks to end it...it says TeamSpeak Not Responding.
He has tried re-dling and uninstalling and re-installing, as well as trying wave and Direct sound...
Thoughts?

talked to someone that said he was having the same issue and this a work around and diffently not a fix. launch TS end process launch TS again end process then launch TS again the third time is a charm for him every single time we are working on the issue and will be sending logs to the dev's.

Other thank Tenzero, what are the PC specs of you folks that are having trouble... and what kind of PC are you running i.e. Dell?
Looking for anything that might narrow this down...

Tenzero et al go to this thread... perhaps try this. I know most of you are running different cards, but it is a thought.

awbash.
Try to run ts, and stop it (using crtl-alt-del)
Then check if "TSclient.log" exists in the same dir as the teamspeak exe (prob c:\program files\teamspeak2\).
IF it exists, open it and see if it contains any data other than the start/stop entries. If so, upload it here plz.

I tried that and the directory had no TSclient.log file in it.

Okay...I have been posting under "Major Problem"..but I'll duplicate here.
I have Windows 98 running on a Dell P3 500 w/ 640megs of RAM and a Turtle Beach Montego Sound Card. I am using DirectX 8.1.
I will try to see if there is a log file. Checking now.
