firewall problem??

I have opened TSS ports from the firewall: tcp 8765 and udp 8766. Server starts just fine (no errors), but client can't connect to it.

I have configured server.ini to use udp 8766 port, but I can't find the line where I can change TCP port...

OS: Linux Redhat 7.2

Error message.

Hello all,

I have exactly the same error message from a TS2 server running on Windows XP behind a NAT firewall when connecting from outside the firewall (no issues inside). Let me explain what happened:

First, I had no problems with TS1.

The story is this:

The first time I installed TS2, everything worked fine inside/outside the firewall. This worked well for two or three days. However, yours truly removed his admin rights by mistake (a confirmation box would have been helpful in retrospect) and this forced me remove/reinstall to get a new password (and create a backup admin account just in case...).

Ever since, everyone on the outside gets this "Server must not be running" error. No problems connecting inside the network.

I'm not really sure why I would get this error now because it worked the first time like a champ, and the firewall / server settings have not changed (except for the uninstall/reinstall).

I tried the newer patches in the developper's forum but same thing.

Help!
