Which Codecs are better/worse?

Anyone know the advantages/disadvantages to the different codecs? My server is a linux server on an OC3, so bandwidth isnt really a problem. Mainly windows clients are going to connect, no linux clients, just linux server...

If the people connecting to the server are all on broadband or higher then use the codec with the best quality CELP 16.4Kbit. If you find that you are getting lagged then switch to a lower codec. If some of the people connecting have ISDN single or double channel then you should think about lowering it Windows CELP 5.2Kbit the quality isn't excellant but its reasonable and uses very little bandwidth. Hope this helps..
