Client Feature Needed: Mike Clicks
I've been a Roger Wilco user for a long time, and now that Gamespy has destroyed the product I'm searching for a replacement.
Teamspeak looks to fit the bill, but there is one minor thing missing. Mike clicks.
I know you can attach sound notifications to events, but there isn't an even for "post send" and "post recieved" at least that I can tell. There is microphone activated and sound activated, but I'm guessing they are BEFORE the event, not after the event.

Perhaps a short tone to let you know that someone is transmitting, or 'clicking'. That would work well for yes/no if your mic isn't working. Then theres morse code lol.
Maybe another, higher pitched, short tone indicating a channel commander is transmitting.

Sound files
If the developers want it, here is a radio squelch sound file. I recorded it from my amateur radio, then edited the length and pitch slightly to make it sound better on a busy channel.
It is attached, feel free to use to for whatever you want...

That's actually a very cool squelch. I haven't used mic clicks in RW, cause they're annoying to me, but now I might use this wav in TS if the feature is added.

Yeah! I miss those microphone clicks too! My NASCAR-2002 team used TeamSound for a long time and its microphone clicks really add to the atmosphere of the game. Would *love* to see them in TeamSpeak.

I like the option also.
But instead of sending the audio, let's make the event and send it to others to play the mic click sound.

I'm in agreement with Glob.
Personally I don't like mic-clicks but alot of people do, and you may as well add the option so that the old Roger Wilco users (Like myself (ahh the good old days of quake 2 CTF)) will find TeamSpeak more... welcoming I suppose.
