Feature Request

Enhanced Usermanagement...

Use of Groups to put users in, and the ability to 'Whisper to Group X'

That way you can have all your Commanders in one group, snipers in one group...Something like this:

[MainChan]
-[TeamAlpha]
-[Users: 1Commander, 2 Snipers, 5 Assault, 2 Tankdrivers]

-[TeamBeta]
-[Users: 1Commander, 2 Snipers, 5 Assault, 2 Tankdrivers]

-[TeamCharlie]
-[Users: 1Commander, 2 Snipers, 5 Assault, 2 Tankdrivers]

Then you can Reach (whisper) only the commanders in Group X (And assuming you have all commanders in this group)
And as a commander coordinate attacks with only the other commanders, still being able to talk to all on you chan and whisper to other chan for all to hear.

Another use for this could be 'Whisper to Group Snipers Locally' - That would only transmit to the 2 snipers on your current channel, even tho there is 4 more snipers in the Snipers Group.

Anyone follows what i mean or did i just make a mess of it?

*PS: I just installed the ts2, and havent digged deeper then into the menues and default settings and browsed through the options, so i might have missed this if it exist.

Thanks otherwise for a good effort to make a good voiceprg.

woutur will become famous soon enough
Already can do that...
You can whisper to groups of persons too. You just need another keyboard to bind all those functions

To sum up:
Whisper to: sniper1, sniper2
Whsiper to: sniper3, sniper4
Same for all other people
Whisper to channel: Alpha, Beta, Charlie
Whisper to: All channel commanders

So all you want can actually be done.. you just need a lot of keys.

Ahh, ok, gotta look further down the config's some day.

I still think it's a valid thing to look into with groups, as you don't have to go re-bind your keys when the users change, just administer the group.

anyhow, we'll see what the future holds =)
