First, I'd just like to say thanks for both this release and for TS 1 which my clan has used almost exclusively for the past year. This means another clanmate and I can actually play ut2k3 with them in linux!

Second, I would like to know if you plan on releasing the source at some point. I would personally prefer a gtk interface (my system is qt clean currently) and have the ability to create it myself if I had access to the source.

Third, why not provide a package with a dynamically linked binary to save bandwidth. I'm sure some of the people will already have everything needed to run the client.

Finally, how long before there's a gentoo ebuild available?

Thanks! I'll be installing Linux tonight ..

Is there a TS1 Linux client kicking around somewhere? Our server doesn't have TS2 on it currently >

As a proud gentoo user, i want a ebuild to
I'll make one soon. But i dont have much experience in
making ebuilds for binaries. (heck i only made 1 ebuild
ever and somehow they dont want to include it into the
portage tree )

So be patient

As for the source:
Still no plans to release those any day soon, sorry.
Besides, I wonder how many people have a kylix compiler anyway
