No window displays

Hi, I'd like to say THANKS for the Linux version.
I have used both of the windows versions without any problems.

Yesterday I installed it on the RedHat 7.3 side of my dual-boot with win2000. At the end of the installation I chose to run the program with the button that was available and it started fine, mic wasn't workin, but I figured I'd get to it later.
Later last night I started my pc into Linux and ran the program. Nothing happened. I ctrl-alt-del and TS is running (I can see the processes running in KDE system guard). But there is no window for TS on my desktop. Not sure what to do, I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but nothin helps.

Any ideas out there?

Thanks in advance.

does the file ~/.teamspeak2/TSclient.log exist?
If so, please post it here so i can see if there are any error messages in it.

---------------------------------------------------------------

not much help there, lol.

I uninstalled TS then reinstalled, but this time from console. After the install I tried to run it from the install program. It gave me this error message:

# teamspeak is already running, redirecting startupinfo
If teamspeak is not running, delete the file "/tmp/.lock_teamspeak2client

Did that and reran TS, same thing happened and the same file was created.
I am going to delete the file again and reinstall TS.

THX for the fast reply

Sorry no reply sooner. I finally got TS2 working.
I adjusted the sound server to use /dev/dsp1. TS2 seems to work fine and I can talk to clanmates.

The only problem now is that I get no sound in UT2K3 or RtCW while TS2 is running. Turn it off and game sound is fine.

Will keep at it and let you know. Going to try latest patch now.

Thanks for help.
