No sound in games but can run servers??

Hi,

I just got hold of teamspeak (version 1.5.0.6) and was able to run a server and join a server quite happily, but as soon as I tried to play a game of Return to Castle Wofenstein I was told 'device is being used by another application click retry to try again or cancel to play Wolf with no sound'

I have a Soundblaster PCI 128 card

Any ideas??

Drivers are Creative 4-21-1999

Too old perhaps?? Card cant handle it??

Is the same problem with running a server and when I join one.

I'm running Win98 SE

Thanks in advance

Do you mean within Teamspeak or within Device settings in My Computer??

I have NOT got Direcx as a preferred device within Teamspeak just the following.....
Sound Input Device
"Wave In - SB AudioPCI Record, Gamecompaitble Device, Voice Modem Wave #oo Line"

Sound Output Device
"Wave Out - SM AudioPCI Playback, Gamecompaitble Device, Voice Modem Wave #oo Line"

Just to add I have just dl'd the latest version of DirectX (8.1) and it has made no difference, but I still can't select it within Teamspeak...if that was what u were suggesting b4??
