Help with Audigy

Can anyone help me with my Audigy?

I'm using 2.4.19 and the latest version of the Audigy/SBLive OSS driver from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emu10k1/

I can hear myself in my headphones when I speak into the mic and not when I turn my mic volume down so thats working. I have obviously selected Mic as the recording input in aumix.

I can hear everything everyone else says on teamspeak but nothing I say gets sent.

I've tried playing around with the local test mode and voice activation levels but the activation light only comes on and permanently when I decrease the activation level almost to zero.

I've just remembered I'm going through NAT (I have another Linux box sitting between me and my cable modem). Do I need to open any ports or anything to be able to send to the server ?

Make sure you increase the Igain to max, as well as mic to max.

Yes but what do you have Igain mapped to.

Are you using the default audigy-script ? And did you run it.

I have my Igain mapped to my center/sub volume.

The default audigy-script doesnt map igain to anything.

Anyway I'll go try it =)

I just tried it and I can't get anything.

If I select any of the codecs on local test mode then turn up the output volume to max then decrease the activation level, the light comes on when it is very low and I can hear a whine because nothing is being recorded from the card.

I have tried it with a mic connected to the Mic input and a radio connected to the linein with either selected as the recording source in aumix/gnome-mixer.

Igain makes no difference.
