Sb Pci 512

I've got a really strange problem here. Bought a new soundcard to get rid of my old AWE 64. A PCI 512.

It has more than one channels alright. I can hear at least two sound sources at one time, without esd or anything like that. In TeamSpeak everyone hears me, but as horribly loud loopback. I am hearing myself in the headphones as I speak, and this is being recorded again, and over and over again, causing a loopback.

Now the mixer is a real problem and I've tried to play with aumix and gkrellm's mixer plugin, but hell no I can't get this straight.

Somebody please help me!

current aumix settings:

vol 82, 82
pcm 35, 35
speaker 0, 0
line 0, 0, P
mic 45, 45, R
cd 0, 0, P
pcm2 0, 0
rec 0, 0
igain 45, 45
line1 0, 0, P
phin 0, 0, P
video 0, 0

This *should* work just fine. It did so with the AWE 64. And what's this PCM 2? And what is the REC mixer for?

EDIT SUPPLEMENTAL:

After installing Alsa 0.5.x and then 0.9.x drivers, everything worked file right from the start. There was little to no tweaking necessary.
