Can't unmute input/output

I saw the other thread on this same issue, but looking at my log, it appears to be a different issue:

19-11-02 11:59:52,18234,ERROR,All,TOSSioThread.Initialize,E xception EOSSException: OSS error in OpenSoundDevice-fullduplex (/dev/dsp): Input/output error

I have kernel 2.4.18 and playing/recording sound works fine elsewhere. Card is an SBLive.

Anyway to make it not try and do full duplex mode?

If you cant unmute input it means ts was unable to open your microphone in full duplex mode

Lightbulb i don't need fullduplex!

Hi, why do i need fullduplex? i can't change the soundcard(laptop). why isn't there an option to override the duplex-check?
i've a PTT - Key for speaking, but it's not neccessary to hear other people while i'm speaking.

dear developer:
please implement an option to override this check

see ya
