FreeBSD - ts2_client_rc1_2026
./TeamSpeak.bin: relocation error: ./TeamSpeak.bin: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings
FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE
OSS Sound Drivers
SB Live! Sound Card
Older version 2025 worked fine.

i guess that is not covered by linux emulation ?
are you sure LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set to the TeamSpeak install dir (with the startup script?)

I have always just run it stand alone with the TeamSpeak.bin program, I didn't install with the setup script because it always gave me errors.

ok.
you have to make some startup script that sets the enviroment parameter LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the teamspeak install dir.
Try that, let me know if it works

Thank you, it worked great!
One more question about the Linux client, why does it repeat my Operating System under connection info?
It says "FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE"
Thanks again.

the actual error message should help a lot.
Installation for free bsd:
create the directory where you want to install ts2 to.
Untar the .tar file somewhere in the setup.data dir if i remember correctly (files.tar) to that directory
Then you must do you linux emulation stuf, (which i am not formiliar with)
make a shell script that set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH enviroment variable and then lauchches TeamSpeak.bin

Important thing to add: make sure to install the linux-libjpeg from the ports!
another problem I'm muted in/out when I connect to a server.
I have to figure this out.

You need to patch the sound sub system and linux emulation to add a dummy ioctl. (It seems the Fbsd sound code does full duplex automatically)
BTW nice app dev guys

Oh - and is there any chance that there will be a native port of TeamSpeak client and server?
This should not be too hard ...
