Remap sound inputs

Hello,
This question isn't directly related to Teamspeak, but I figured this would be the best place to ask it. Anyways, I just purchased a Plantronics USB headset. I am trying to take some of the input (line in) from my actual (integrated) soundcard and have it play back through the headset. Basically, I have something hooked into my soundcard and want it to play through my USB headset. Anybody have any ideas?

Well, does it work? Are you too high? Are you too low? Is it scratchy and bad quality? What's wrong with it. More details, please!
