Problem with GUI
Hi,
i tried teamspeak and it is running really fine, but i have the problem, that the font in the GUI is so tiny, that it is impossible to read it.
How can i fix that?
TIA.

I hate you and will continue to hate you until I have a monitor that can go 1600x1200 with 100dpi and still be readable for any window

For some (unscaleable?) fonts there are 75dpi and 100dpi versions available. Take a look at your XF86config's files section. Make sure 100dpi fonts are listed before their 75dpi counterparts, like this:
Code:
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/"
FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/truetype"
# FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/"
Maybe that helps.

Hi,
i have the following entries in my X-Config:
RgbPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb"
ModulePath "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules"
FontPath "unix/:7110"
FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/truetype/"
FontPath "/usr/share/fonts/truetype/openoffice/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"
And my Fontserver has the following lines:
catalogue = /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc/:unscaled,
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled,
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled,
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/,
/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/CID,
/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType,
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic/:unscaled,
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/
I think that should work. What font will TeamSpeak use, maybe my system is missing the font.

:unscaled
Hi...
i had the same problem as idefix... but now i added :unscaled to my 75dpi and 100dpi fonts, and now it works. here are my font entrys:
Before:
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/"
After:
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled"
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled"
now my teamspeak works just fine... i can read everything now

Idefix... try to enter the font paths in the XF86Config directly... probably this could help...

No, direct input of the lines in the XFConfig file doesn't solve that problem.
Which font use teamspeak?
