Problem with people Spaming my server.

Today My server well its my friends but that dosn't matter. Today i have been playing games and some people just spam the server like do that where they log a lot of people in so I did what i needed I ip baned that one but later I got another "spammer" And I also ip banned. But my question is can someone please help me get these out and out for good the "spammers" sometimes lag my pc up and its realy anoying.
